(Lander, WY) – Who She Is, the animated documentary highlighting the stories of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women from Wyoming’s Wind River Reservation, has been nominated for two Heartland Emmy Awards.
Created by Caldera Productions and directed by Jordan Dresser and Sophie Barksdale, the film has earned national acclaim and continues to shine a light on the MMIW epidemic.
“We have been telling this story because the Indigenous women who are missing and
murdered cannot tell their own story,” said Barksdale. “Who She Is aims to reclaim
the narrative for them.”
