The Wind River Transportation Authority (WRTA) will once again provide fare-free transportation between the University of Wyoming and Fremont County for the Thanksgiving break.
On Wednesday, November 26, WRTA will depart from the University of Wyoming at 12:00 PM. Pickup will take place in the north section of the Purple Zone parking area, located at 758 N 30th Street, Laramie, WY 82072.
Riders may leave their vehicles in this lot, and students may also utilize the University’s Transit System to reach the East Lot. WRTA has coordinated with the University of Wyoming to ensure students are permitted to park in this area during the break if needed.
Drop-offs:
Lander: Bomgaars (275 Grandview Dr, Lander, WY 82520) parking lot
Riverton: City Hall (816 N Federal Blvd, Riverton, WY 82501) parking lot
A soft stop in Hudson, Wyoming, and Rawlins, Wyoming, is also available upon request for both pickup and drop-off.
The return trip will be on Sunday, November 30, departing Riverton City Hall at 11:00 AM and Bomgaars in Lander at 12:30 PM.
This fare-free service is open to all members of the public on a space-available basis.
