(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a cold front will be swinging through the area, today, October 5, which means cooler temperatures and northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph early on, before shifting to the north this afternoon.
Winds are expected to continue into tonight, and should diminish around midnight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that low humidity and a gusty wind will bring another day of critical fire weather to the area. Fire concerns will decrease tomorrow as the wind lightens.
Highs will be in the 70’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 40’s and upper 30’s.
