(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, November 14, a Pacific trough will approach the area, which will tighten the pressure gradient for increasing winds.
Those southwest winds will increase to speeds of 15 to 25 mph this afternoon, with gusts up to 30 mph. Winds will be stronger from South Pass to Beaver Rim to Jeffrey City, with gusts as high as 40 to 50 mph.
Skies will be mostly cloudy in the evening, then clear after midnight, Lipson added, with winds still gusting into the night up to 25 mph.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will be in the 50s and lower 60s today, with lows tonight in the 30s and lower 40s.
