(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the combination of an approaching Pacific trough and cold front will increase the pressure gradient today, September 29, which will result in warm winds and possibly record high temperatures.
Cooler temperatures are expected to accompany the cold front as it swings through tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that the warm temperatures, low humidity and gusty wind will bring elevated to critical fire weather to most of the area. Cooler temperatures will move in Monday.
High will be in the 80’s for most today, with Shoshoni getting up to 91 degrees, and Dubois and the South Pass area in the upper 70;s
Lows tonight will be in the 40’s and 50’s.
