(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 5, we can expect mostly sunny skies, with slightly warmer temperatures as southwest winds gusting up to 35 mph will usher in milder air.
Tonight, winds will shift to the north/northeast as a weak cold front swings across the area in the later hours, with continued wind gusts up to 35 mph under mostly cloudy skies.
Lipson added that an associated trough will track across the area from the northwest tomorrow, so we can expect scattered rain and snow showers, partly cloudy skies, and diminishing winds by the afternoon. Six to eight inches of snow is likely to fall from this weather system by Saturday morning on Togwotee Pass.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will be in the 30s today, with lows tonight in the 20s for most areas.
