(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a trough of low pressure will be exiting the area today, December 15.
Any lingering, scattered snow showers will have wrapped up by late morning, Lipson added, followed by clearing skies and mostly sunny conditions.
Expect southwest winds gusting up to 40 mph this afternoon, which Lipson also advised will shift to the northwest tonight under partly cloudy skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that those strong gusty winds will occur mainly east of the divide, with the strongest wind coming from Muddy Gap through Casper.
High temperatures will be a little all over the place today, with Dubois and the South Pass area in the low to mid 20’s, Jeffrey City at 36 degrees, and the rest of Fremont County in the low 40’s.
Lows tonight will be in the lower 20’s and upper teens.
