As a follow-up to our earlier announcement regarding changes to WRTA’s fixed-route schedule, we regret to confirm that the Walmart stop will no longer be part of our routes starting January 6, 2025. This adjustment, resulting from the failure of the ½% sales tax measure, reflects the financial challenges we are currently navigating.
While this decision was difficult, WRTA remains committed to providing vital transportation services to the community. We look forward to reinstating the Walmart stop in the future once more stable funding is secured.
