(Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming All-State Marching Band will perform at the 105th 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day parade in Philadelphia tomorrow, November 28, and some local Fremont County youth will be among its ranks.
County 10 reached out to Lander resident Tiffany Hartpence when we saw that her son Alden, a drummer for Lander Valley High School, was going to be performing with the Band in the parade.
Hartpence let us know there are other LVHS kiddos who are also participating, and County 10 is in the process of finding out if other Fremont County youth will be there as well. We will update this post or do a follow-up post when we obtain those names, but still wanted to let folks know about the parade so they could tune in to show their support.
Known as the “oldest Thanksgiving Day parade in the nation,” the parade will kick off at 8:30 AM EST (6:30 AM MST) with a 30-minute pre-show hosted by 6abc, followed by three hours for the parade and performances.
If you can’t tune in to 6 ABC in Philadelphia or see it in person, there will be multiple ways to watch the parade; folks can view it on Hulu, ABCNewsLive, and Disney+.
