(Statewide) – The Wyoming State Forestry Division has developed a new interactive wildfire map, which is now available on their website.
Users can search for specific fires, and by referencing the legend they can also determine the fire size, how new the fire is, and whether or not it’s a prescribed fire.
For example, we searched for the Leeds Creek Fire (on the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest) in the search bar on the map, and the most up-to-date information from August 9 was then displayed.
The Wyoming State Forestry Division also shared the following disclaimer in regards to use of the map.
