Because there’s a survey for everything, TakeSpruce.com recently compiled some data on what every state’s favorite fast-food french fry was.
The data collected was from the most popular chains across the nation, so unfortunately some of our favorite locally owned businesses didn’t get into the mix.
Across the country, McDonald’s french fries were the most popular pick. But Wyoming eaters threw a bit of a curve ball out there.
Wyoming picked Taco Bell’s fries as our favorite. Earlier this year, Taco Bell debuted their nacho fries and apparently it is a hit in the Cowboy State. In late 2019, Riverton’s Taco Bell had a massive remodel project.
A handful of other states picked Taco Bell’s fries too. Most of our bordering states selected McDonald’s as their favorites, but Nebraska went against the grain with Burger King and Utah picked Wendy’s fries.
