(Yellowstone National Park, WY) – U.S. Park Rangers of Yellowstone National Park are investigating an incident of an unidentified woman approaching a female grizzly bear and her two cubs earlier this month.
The incident is reported to have taken place on May 10th at approximately 4:45 pm in the parking lot on the north end of the Roaring Mountain, according to the YNP release. The female grizzly reportedly charged the woman after approaching them. She then turned and walked away from the bears.
“The unidentified woman is described as white, mid-30s, brown hair, heavyset, and wearing black clothing,” the release stated.
