(Fremont County, WY) – The final unofficial results for the 2024 General Election were tabulated and shared just after 11 PM on Election Night last night.
There were six Fremont County School Districts with contested races for the various school boards in Fremont County, including Lander (FCSD #1), Wyoming Indian (FCSD #14), Fort Washakie (FCSD #21), Shoshoni (FCSD #24), Riverton (FCSD #25), and Arapahoe (FCSD #38).

Wyoming Indian had three open spots as well, with Carlton Underwood (227 votes at 12.80%), Rich Singer (203 votes at 11.45%) and Tessa Redman (174 votes at 9.81%) securing those seats. There were 20 write-ins for this race.
Fort Washakie filled its open positions with Bonnie J. Washakie (189 votes at 12.26%), David W. Snyder (182 votes at 11.80%), and Kay Ferris (142 votes at 9.21%). There were 20 write-ins for this race.
For Shoshoni, the winners included Brandon Haun (425 votes at 19.68%), April Peregoy (385 votes at 17.82%) and Justin Crimm (370 votes at 17.13%). There were 8 write-in votes for this race.
Arapahoe’s top three vote-getters included Leslie Spoonhunter (155 votes at 11.43%), John M. Goggles (150 votes at 11.06%) and Theodore Lionel Bell Sr. (141 votes at 10.40%). There were 59 write-in votes for this race. There was also a 2-year position open, which saw Jodi Brown take the top spot with 180 votes at 39.82%). There were 6 write-ins for that race.
Riverton had four open seats, which were ultimately filled with Lynette Jeffres (3,379 votes at 12.83%), Bruce Berg (2,730 votes at 10.37%), Carl Manning (2,599 votes at 9.87%) and Lori D. Morrow (2,569 votes at 9.75%). There were 109 write-in votes in this race.
As for the other uncontested districts, Leah Vermeire, Janean Sellers and Tracey Nguyen finished in that order for Dubois (FCSD #2), with a total of 25 write-in votes, and the two 2-year positions were filled by Nicole Polmanteer and Erica Harris, with a total of 18 write-ins.
Wind River schools (FCSD #6) had four open spots, with Jess Evans, Patti Jo Stoll-Baker and Angela McCann finishing in that order, and no fourth winner announced at this time. There were a total of 92 write-ins in this race.
