(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with some of the folks behind this weekend’s 4th annual Lander Community Pig Roast.
Mayor Monte Richardson chats about the suicide/mental health awareness aspects of why the Roast started four years ago, and provides details on the order of the day’s events, which will include opening ceremonies, free pulled pork, amazing local music (the lineup is below, and music starts at 12pm), kids games and access to multiple mental health resources.
Also, Bob and Janet Keiser from the Lander VFW fills us in on the quilt of valor ceremony and recipients, and Christian Klein gives us details on the Suicide Awareness Balloon Walk that will take place at 10am just before the opening Roast ceremonies.
