(Fremont County, WY) – Cooler and wetter weather conditions will begin tomorrow, August 7, as a cold front passes through the region in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton five day outlook.
In addition to the cooler air that will come with that cold front, monsoonal moisture will also bring persistent chances of showers and thunderstorms through the weekend.
High temperatures are even expected to drop down into the 70’s on Thursday and Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms will be more widespread Thursday through Saturday.
Despite the weather change, the Red Flag Warning will still be in effect for Wednesday, August 7, from 12-8pm.
