The SageWest Riverton campus will be a sea of pink this weekend as the annual Pink Ribbon Run returns on Saturday, August 16, to support breast cancer services across Wyoming.
Festivities begin Friday, August 15, with packet pickup at 4:30 PM in the SageWest Riverton cafeteria. Participants can collect their race bibs, t-shirts, and goodies ahead of race day.
On Saturday, the event kicks off at 7:00 AM with on-site registration and the opening of the event area to the public. A Survivor Celebration will be held at 7:30 AM, followed by the 5K run at 8:00 AM. Awards for top runners and teams will be presented at 9:15 AM.
This year’s theme, “Flock Together for the Fight”, highlights the strength of standing together—celebrating survivors, supporting those in the fight, and remembering loved ones lost to breast cancer.
Friends and family are encouraged to join in, with strollers and leashed dogs welcome on the course. Registration remains open online, during packet pickup, and on race day. While the race will not be professionally timed this year, all proceeds will go directly toward Wyoming breast health programs and services.
Every step taken during the Pink Ribbon Run helps raise awareness and fund vital resources for those impacted by breast cancer.
