Jeff Goodrich has submitted his resignation for the Fremont County School District No. 1 board.
Goodrich’s resignation comes after a petition questioning his residency was submitted to the board at the Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 meeting. Details about the petition can be found here.
Board Chairman Brett Berg noted that Goodrich’s resignation is “effective immediately” so he will not be voting in the upcoming special board meeting about Policy CKA – “Firearms: Personnel Authorized to Carry” on Tuesday, July 23rd. Details about the policy can be found here.
Berg also wanted to, “Thank Jeff for his service to the students of Fremont No. 1, to the district and board. His service was valued and wishes him and his family well.”
