(Wyoming) – Governor Gordon has issued a reminder that both the U.S and the Wyoming flags are to be returned to full-staff at sunset tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28.
Flags have been flying at half-staff for 30 days (with a short, full-staff return on January 20 for President Trump’s inauguration), in honor of President Jimmy Carter, who passed away on Sunday, December 29. U.S. flag code states that “The flag shall be flown at half-staff 30 days from the death of the President or a former President.”
