All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Fremont County, WY) – The jury trial for Kendall Moss has been rescheduled for March 17 before the Honorable Judge Scott W. Skavdahl in the U.S. District Court of Casper, according to recent federal court filings.
Moss was federally charged with two counts of felony abusive sexual contact back in November of 2024, with the original indictment documents stating that he “did knowingly engage in and cause sexual contact with (a) minor victim,” who was under the age of 12 at the time.
Moss pled “not guilty” at his November 26 arraignment hearing, and a January 27 jury trial was set.
However, a motion to continue was filed on January 13, 2025, which requested an ends of justice continuance, due to the parties involved “exchanging discovery and plea negotiations,” which have “stalled at this point.”
After the motion was accepted, the March 17 jury trial was set.
An abusive sexual contact felony charge holds a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, life of supervised release (no less than 5 years), and a $100 special assessment fee.
