(Fremont County, WY) – Strong localized wind gusts were recorded across the 10 on Sunday due to an area of low pressure combined with outflow from showers and isolated thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
Lander, Hudson and Crowheart all recorded gusts over 50 mph. Lander had the strongest gust at 79 mph which was recorded just before noon today. The complete list of peak wind gusts around Fremont County that were 30 mph or more are shared below.
