(Lander, WY) – Following Fremont County School District (FCSD) #1 school board member Scott Jensen’s resignation announcement last month, the Trustees have since narrowed the applicant pool down to five individuals, who came before the Board Tuesday night, February 17, for their final interviews.
The final five applicants included: Sarah M. Adams, Matt Ayers, Jeff Chapin, Daryl Michael, and Breanne Weston.
Following the interviews and an executive session discussion, the Board ultimately chose Matt Ayers as the new FCSD #1 Trustee.
Ayers will now serve through this year’s school board election cycle.
