(Lander, WY) – After being partially open for much of May, the “Loop Road” (Forest Service Road 300) is officially open as of today, June 5, according to a post shared on the USDA Forest Service – Shoshone National Forest Facebook page Friday afternoon.
“Thank you for your patience; late season snow along with boulders and other debris blocking the way slowed the opening of the Loop Road (FSR 300), but it is now open,” the post states.
The Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest’s hours are currently 8 AM to 4:30 PM (M-F). For further questions, call 307-332-5460, and stay up to date on the USDA Forest Service – Shoshone National Forest Facebook page.
