(Lander, WY) – As of at least June 25, Forest Service Road 300, known locally as “the Loop Road” or “Louie Lake Road,” is fully open, according to an automated message from the Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest.
County 10 confirmed as much today after we received a few accounts of the road opening up this weekend, but no representatives were available today to share the exact opening date. The Loop Road opened partially on May 30.
