Deputy Treasurer Jim Anderson is the new Fremont County Treasurer as of today, October 6th. Interviews for the position were held today by the Fremont County Commissioners during their regular meeting.
Anderson has officially accepted the role and a video of his swearing-in is shared below.
In September, former Treasurer Tom Majdic submitted his resignation from the position citing “personal reasons.” His resignation was ratified by the Commissioners on September 22nd and effective September 30th.
