(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has extended the snow melt flood advisory issued for portions of Fremont County on Monday, June 10, through 7:00 AM on Saturday, June 15.
The NWSR stated that at 1:16 AM this morning, June 14, gauge reports indicated snowmelt due to warm temperatures, and that minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area, but is on the downward trend.
The specific advisory areas still include: Lander, Hudson, Milford, Sinks Canyon State Park, Frye Lake, Worthen Meadows Reservoir, Sinks Canyon Campground and Lander Hunt Field.
