Wyoming Special Olympics announced the schedule for the Summer Sports Classic this weekend in Casper. As you may recall from a previous story, the local Riverton softball team will be participating in the tournament this weekend.
Our local team will be playing on Saturday, August 17th the at the North Casper Softball Complex. The softball tournament begins at 9:30 am.

Details from Special Olympics Wyoming:
The Summer Sports Classic combines Softball, Unified Sports® Golf, Cycling and adult Bowling competitions. Participating in this year’s tournaments include Casper, Cheyenne, Thermopolis, Gillette, Riverton, Sweetwater County.
Friday, August 16th
- The Unified Sports® Golf Tournament will be from 8:30 am to Noon at Casper Municipal Golf Course.
- Bowling competition begins that afternoon at El-Marko Lanes at 1:15.
On Saturday, August 17th
- The Softball competition begins at the North Casper Softball Complex at 9:30 am.
- The Cycling competition also begins at 9:30 am, but at North Casper Trails.
