In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SageWest Health Care is making it easier than ever for women to prioritize their health with “Walk-in Wednesdays.” Throughout October, no appointment is necessary to receive a 3D mammogram every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at SageWest in Riverton.
Early detection plays a key role in breast cancer survival, significantly improving the chances of successful treatment and a quicker recovery. Mammograms are essential in spotting small tumors early, leading to more effective treatment outcomes.
Breast cancer affects one in eight women, making regular screenings vital. Women over the age of 40 are encouraged to schedule annual mammograms for optimal health.
