Fremont County, Wyo. (July 29, 2026) – SageWest Health Care is pleased to announce that Magen Hicks, D.O., has joined its medical staff and is now providing comprehensive family medicine and obstetrical care to our Fremont County communities.

Dr. Hicks completed her Family Medicine Residency with a focus in Surgical Obstetrics at Waco Family Medicine Institute and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
“Becoming a physician has always been my calling and testimony, just as being a wife and mother is an important part of who I am,” said Dr. Hicks. “My family and I moved to Wyoming to find a balance between medicine and family life, and I am excited to care for patients here and am grateful for the opportunity to serve these communities.”
Dr. Hicks specializes in family medicine and obstetrics, caring for patients across all stages of life while providing comprehensive pregnancy, labor, and delivery services. Her approach to care is guided by the principle of putting patients first and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive. As an osteopathic physician, she emphasizes whole-person care, considering each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Dr. Hicks joins Dr. Eric Hansen and Dr. Ali Weiss in providing comprehensive family medicine and obstetrical care for Fremont County families. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, being active in her church community, and spending time with family in Thermopolis.
