(Riverton, WY) – Teddy, the white miniature poodle who was stolen from his home in Ottawa, Canada back in 2023 and recently recovered in Riverton, officially reunited with his owner Alaina Tripp on August 9.

His story has captured the heart of the country, and was also recently featured in a people.com (People Magazine) article that shares his tail, er, tale.
The man that stole Teddy, who was reportedly discovered to have a non-extraditable warrant out of Canada for taking the pooch, was later cited by the Riverton Police Department for meth possession and misdemeanor theft (after a routine traffic stop where he was found with Teddy in the vehicle), and he is currently awaiting the next steps in those charges.
