(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 28, will feature a dry cold front that will come blasting through the area, which will result in southwest winds shifting to the northwest with gusts up to 45 mph, under sunny skies.
Lipson says these winds will continue into this evening, but will diminish after midnight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that a combination of low humidity combined with a gusty wind will bring elevated to critical fire weather for most of the area today. Dry weather with above normal temperatures will continue through at least Sunday.
High temperatures will be in the 70’s and 80’s today for most today, with Dubois at 67 degrees. Lows tonight will be in the 40’s for most.
